Plan 1: Research only

 Plan 1: For students with Master’s Degree

(1) Hold a Master’s degree or equivalence in pharmacology, pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, medical science, biological science, veterinarian science, or other related fields from the higher education institute, which accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation

(2)    Have cumulative GPA not less than 3.5

(3)   Have an English Proficiency Examination score as the requirement of Faculty of Graduate Studies

(4)       Have research experience related to pharmacology, medical science, biological science, or other related fields at least two years, or have at least one research publication as first author or principle investigator

(5)  Applicant with other qualifications as indicated in (2) – (3) may be considered for the application by the Program Director, committee of program and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies

Plan 2: Coursework and research

Plan 2.1: For students with Master’s Degree

(1) Hold a Master’s degree or equivalence in pharmacology, pharmacy,

pharmaceutical science, medical science, biological science, or other related fields the higher education institute, which  accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation

(2)    Have cumulative GPA not less than 3.5

(3) Have an English Proficiency Examination score as the requirement of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University

(4) Applicant with other qualifications as indicated in (2) – (3) may be considered by the Program Director, committee of program and the Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies

                              Plan 2.2: For students with Bachelor’s Degree

(1) Hold a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, medicine, veterinarian science, biological science, chemistry or other related fields in biomedical science which accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation

                              (2) Have cumulative GPA not less than 3.5

(3) Have an English Proficiency Examination score as the requirement of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University

(4) Applicant with other qualifications as indicated in (2) – (3) may be considered for the application by the Program Director, committee of program and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies

3. Graduation Requirement

          3.1 Plan 1: Research only

1) Total time of study should not exceed the study plan

          2) Students must complete 48 dissertation credits as stated in the curriculum

          3) Students must meet the English Competence Standard of Graduate Students, Mahidol University defined by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University

4) Students must pass the Qualifying Examination following Regulations of Mahidol University on Graduate Studies

5) Students must participate in and pass skill development activities of the Graduate Studies, Mahidol University

6) Students must present the dissertation and deliver the final oral defense to the Committee appointed by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and receive a “Pass”. The final oral defense must be open to the university community.

7) The dissertation or a part of the dissertation requires a minimum of two published paper or accepted for publication in a standard international peer-reviewed academic journal, complying with the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC)’s announcement, entitled the Guidelines and Considerations on Academic Journals for Publication, and the Faculty of Graduate Studies’ related announcement.

          3.2 Plan 2: Coursework and Research

1) Total time of study should not exceed the study plan

          2) Students must complete their courses as stated in the curriculum

2.1 For student with Master Master’s degree must take course at least 12 credits and dissertation 36 credits with a total of 48 credits

2.2 For student with Bachelor’s degree must take course at least 24 credits and dissertation 48 credits with a total of 72 credits

          3) Student must achieve cumulative grade points (CUM-GPA) at a minimum of 3.00

          4) Students must meet the English Competence Standard of Graduate Students, Mahidol University defined by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University

5) Students must pass the Qualifying Examination following Regulations of Mahidol University on Graduate Studies

6) Students must participate in and pass skill development activities of the Graduate Studies, Mahidol University
